After College, my career started at an industrial film production company shooting steel mill coal mining and textile manufacturing films. This company also had editorial and distribution service contracts with pharmaceutical companies which later turned into production opportunities. Over 8 years I progressed from staff AC to eventually becoming a Director/DP
working on a number of different assignments all over the country. I left this company and became a freelancer who provides services for Producers, Production Companies and In-House Production facilities for Ad Agencies, Meeting Planners and Corporations, these services are strictly for Professional Producers.
My assignments have taken me all over the world covering a wide range of subject matter
including broadcast sports, reality tv series, feature films and live performance venues.
Today almost all of my projects are geared around working with non-professional talent.
They include tutorials, client experience, patient profiles, advocates for change and “person on the street” type testimony. I’ve been sent out on my own to five continents and all fifty states coming back with the materials my clients need for their programs.
On larger Public Affairs and Political campaigns I’m usually brought in early to scout locations, pre-interview likely talent and write up production road maps for shoots based on client strategy, scripts and budget.
I’m also called upon by some of my clients to DP or operate on their productions or to shoot drone footage as an FAA 107 licensed remote pilot.
